The Lodge offers three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with an ensuite, custom made linen, towels and heated floors. The living and dining areas come with antique Chinese and Mongolian furniture, plus a double-sided open fireplace. Fancy a sing-a-long? Have a play on the electric piano!

In the morning, enjoy a complimentary gourmet breakfast before getting stuck into your emails. At night, graze from the well-stocked fridge and wind down with a delicious Tasmanian wine.

For a relaxing escape, Dragonfly Lodge provides a luxurious base to explore Tasmania’s renowned East Coast. The town centre is home to many interesting historic buildings anda local history museum that shares the town’s stories and artefacts. Just out of town, look out for the quirky Spiky Bridge, constructed by convicts using field stones laid without mortar or cement. Local cafes and restaurants serve Swansea’s fresh harvests from land and sea, including the town’s famous oysters, and nearby vineyards and farm gates offer tasty drops, fresh fruit, walnuts, olives and more.  Make sure you check out Kate’s Berry Farm, south of Swansea, where you can enjoy fresh berries, ice cream, jams and berry wines!
